After receiving her medical degree from Yale, where she did her thesis on melanoma, she went on to do an internship at the Yale Primary Care Program followed by a residency in dermatology, also at Yale. Her specialties include adult and pediatric medical dermatology including acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss and skin cancer; surgical excisions, and cosmetic procedures including Botox, filler and laser therapy. Peter Argentine has been appointed to the U.S. Postal Service’s Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee. The committee evaluates 40,000 stamp proposals annually before submitting approximately 25 to 30 stamp recommendations to the Postmaster General. Committee members, appointed by the Postmaster General, are chosen for their expertise on history, science and technology, art, education, sports and other subjects of public interest. Argentine, a filmmaker and founder of Argentine Productions, has produced numerous award-winning films, including three from a series on U.S. national parks.
