Editors’ pick: Pumpkin Patch Parade

Mt. Lebanon’s annual family-friendly parade will run along Washington Road, starting at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery and ending at Lebanon Avenue. The parade begins at 11 a.m. Trick-or-treat takes place on October 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Project TND (Towards no Drug Abuse) @ Outreach Teen & Family Services

Group counseling program for teens and young adults, 14-19, to stop or reduce their use of cigarettes, alcohol, marijuana and/or hard drugs. Purses and Power Tools Bingo

This fundraiser features bingo, raffles, designer purses and brand-name power tools. Celebrity Hoops for Hospice

Book Banning: Past and Present Concerns

The Mt. Lebanon Public Library is hosting a panel discussion from 7 to 8:30 p.m., on the history and current state of book banning in America. At press time, the makeup of the panel were still being determined. Refreshments will be provided.
Stilwell Scares

Homemade haunted house created by Mt. Lebanon High School student Merritt Pittle. Walk through four creative, scary scenes with animatronics and props. 124 Stilwell Court, 6 to 8 p.m. Free admission. Monetary donations for Animal Friends accepted.
