The days might not be colder (yet!) but fall officially arrives in September. Since we can’t stop it, let’s celebrate it!

Uptown Mt. Lebanon will be filled with fun during Fall Festival Weekend September 27-28 with Artists’ Market, Uptown Market, Kids’ Paint Out, Curbside Concerts, Pittsburgh Eggfest, and more!

Start the weekend with a visit to Uptown Market, Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon across from Washington Elementary and pick up some fresh produce or handmade goodies.

Enjoy the sound of local musicians performing as part of the Curbside Concerts series as you stroll through Uptown to shop local and snag a unique item or grab a bite at one of Uptown’s many shops and restaurants. Be sure to stop by Clearview Common to check out the work of young and emerging artists at the Kids’ Paint Out.

The day won’t be complete without a stop at the Artists’ Market, the Mt. Lebanon Partnership’s signature arts event in the heart of Uptown in the Academy Lot from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Do some early holiday shopping as you browse this juried exhibition with more than 60 artisans featuring watercolor and oil paintings, ironwork, jewelry, fiber art, woodworking, and more.

There is so much to see that you’ll want to come back to the Artists’ Market on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for another look. Maybe you’ll find that special something for yourself or be inspired by watching

artists at work!

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, walk next door to Rollier’s parking lot to take in the sights and smells of Pittsburgh Eggfest on Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. Grab a bite from the grill and cheer on your favorite local grill masters.

Enjoy the festivities and celebrate Fall Festival Weekend in Uptown!
