Editors’ pick: Lebo Pride Celebration

Saturday, June 13

The fifth annual celebration of Mt. Lebanon’s LGBTQIA+ community returns with a day of connection [1]. This year the free event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Mt. Lebanon Park and Commissioners Lot for easier accessibility. People of all ages welcome.

Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival

June 5-7 and June 11-14

A reimagined festival experience [2] at Arts Landing in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District, featuring a great lawn, permanent stage, public art, a family play area and more. Enjoy local, national and international performing and visual artists. Free. 803 Penn Avenue.

 

Babesburgh Bash

Saturday, June 6

Celebrate women-owned businesses [3], women artists and community groups with 25-plus beer, cider, wine and cocktail tastings, more than 90 vendors, fitness classes, music and dancing. $39. Allegheny Landing Park.

I AM Gala

Saturday, June 13

The Homeless Children’s Fund [4] hosts an evening celebrating student voices through storytelling, performances and the launch of Echoes of Brilliance, a student essay collection. The event includes the Lagana Champions for Children Awards, auctions and an after-gala Power Party. 5:30 p.m. VIP reception; 6 p.m. program. The Westin Pittsburgh Downtown.

Juneteenth Jubilee

The Lebo Coalition [5] hosts its sixth annual Juneteenth celebration, a free community event open to all with fun, food, games, music, vendors and more! 1 to 5 p.m. Mt. Lebanon Park.

Bell, Book & Scandal Tour

The Historical Society of Mount Lebanon [7] presents a 90-minute “hardly any walking tour” of one of Mt. Lebanon’s most historic intersections — where Washington Road, Castle Shannon Boulevard, and Lebanon Avenue meet — along with a stop at Southminster Presbyterian Church for a talk on its stained glass and bells, and a behind-the-scenes tour of Mt. Lebanon Public Library. $10 members; $15 nonmembers. 6 p.m. Meet at the History Center, 794 Washington Road.

Sharif Bey: Homecoming

June 26 through October 12

This exhibition at The Andy Warhol Museum [8] celebrates Bey’s return to his hometown and explores identity and place through sculptures inspired by modernism, pottery traditions, and African and Oceanic art.

Save the Date: Summer Swing

Friday, July 17

The 27th Annual Summer Swing [9] benefitting St. Clair Health features a Southern-inspired evening with food, live entertainment, auctions and more. Proceeds will support The Heart Center at St. Clair Health, advancing innovation, technology and life-saving cardiac care. 6:30 p.m. St. Clair Country Club.
