Junior Commissioners Chosen

Jack Horrigan
Ruby Siefken

Mt. Lebanon High School senior Jack Horrigan and junior Ruby Siefken are this year’s junior commissioners. Junior commissioners attend Mt. Lebanon Commission meetings and report on high school activities, and report to the student council on municipal government initiatives.

Horrigan, Arden Road, will serve for the fall term. He is editor in chief of the high school newspaper, The Devil’s Advocate, captain of the Model United Nations team and co-founder of the mock trial team.

Siefken, Woodland Drive, serves for the spring term. She was on the mock trial team last year, is on the soccer team, has been involved in student council all through high school and works with younger students in the Odyssey of the Mind competition, a creative problem-solving competition in which she has previously been a world finalist.
