Providence Point’s Memory Support Neighborhoods

Purposeful, meaningful events are common at the two Memory Support neighborhoods at Providence Point!

Providence Point has now opened a second Memory Support neighborhood to better serve the needs of our South Hills community. When visiting Providence Point’s Memory Support neighborhoods, you are sure to come across purposeful engagement in many forms. For example, residents and staff love to create beautiful and unique pieces of art for a resident art show. You may see residents using the Tovertafel, a virtual, visual interactive tool offering a variety of activities that engage the mind, body, and spirit. Tovertafel games are sure to bring out spirited competition and raucous laughter, all while enhancing hand-eye coordination and encouraging teamwork and friendship.

Residents also love spending time with visiting therapy dogs, pigs or horses, and chatting about their favorite sports teams, alma mater and favorite travel stories. Whether they are in the mood to try a new exercise, make beautiful music at the piano for all to enjoy or play a game like “finish the phrase,” residents have a wide variety of engaging activities and conversations at their fingertips. It’s particularly special when families and friends visit and participate in the games and events that are a constant part of the Providence Point community.

While events and activities may change throughout the week at Providence Point, every single day is a new opportunity. Each day, residents enjoy living life to the fullest in purposeful, meaningful and joyous ways in Providence Point’s Memory Support neighborhoods.
