Harper Davies, first-year AP art student
Though this year is my first year taking AP Art, I have always been a passionate artist, even as a toddler coloring with crayons with my grandmother or creating chalk masterpieces on the sidewalk. This year, I will work with acrylic paint to achieve extremely fine detail and hyperrealistic features. My self-portrait demonstrates my perfectionistic tendencies but also portrays my desire to embrace creative challenges, especially through painting unique perspectives like fish-eye.
