Annie Wolfe
Rising senior at Mt. Lebanon High School and a first year AP art student.
“While I’ve always gravitated toward art, I’ve struggled to stay consistent. Being in AP Art has provided me with the structure to take time each day to paint and draw, which keeps me motivated. This year I’ve decided to experiment with acrylic paint rather than my usual graphite. This piece marks the first time I’ve painted with acrylics on a large scale, using a favorite photo of mine as reference. My recent work has focused on a true love of mine, which is animals, and in this painting I wanted to highlight the unconditional loving nature of dogs.”
