Joey Crago, Mt. Lebanon High School junior

From a young age, I could be stereotyped as a typical art kid, doodling up pictures or drawings that were somewhat good enough to catch the eye of a parent or adult, and in my case, land me in art classes. For nine years, my art skills evolved under weekly lessons with the same teacher I am with to this day. In these lessons, I practiced with a graphite pencil with a hyperrealism approach, while in school, I experimented with every resource under the sun. In this picture, I combined both skills, realism and painting, to create a life-like, super large painting of a Classico sauce jar.
