Rear Window: Trey Wagner

A painting of a side view of a boy sitting with his head between his legs, and large black and yellow brush strokes coming from the boy

Trey Wagner, senior AP Art student

Almost everything I do revolves around my passion for music and painting. Whether I’m sketching in a sketchbook or producing music on my laptop, the arts have always been a way for me to express myself. I’ve been consumed by it since I was young and plan on pursuing it throughout the rest of my life. My art is a reflection of my everyday life. When making this  piece, I felt overwhelmed by the world around me, so I expressed that feeling. Alongside the expression of my feelings, painting allows me to let out my creative energy. Moving forward I can’t imagine a life without art in it.
