Getting better all the time: Almost $1 million is going toward 11 much-needed improvements to the recreation department’s facilities over the next year.
July 4: Summertime fun all day long. Ballgames, skill games for cool prizes, food, music and awesome fireworks. Plus Freedom!!
Senior luncheon and movie: Good food. Good movie. Six bucks.
Summer concerts in the park: Good music. Free. Bring one of those rolley-cooler things, some canvas chairs and stake out a spot.
