The art deco building at 710 Washington Road is home to Mt. Lebanon’s municipal offices, including finance, tax, information technology, planning, inspection, commercial districts, human resources, public works administration and public information. You can find municipal employees all over, though — at the Public Safety Center, 555 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon Public Library, 16 Castle Shannon Boulevard, Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center, 900 Cedar Boulevard, and Mt. Lebanon Public Works Yard, 1250 Lindendale Drive.

Since 1974, Mt. Lebanon has been governed under a home rule charter with a five-member commission. Municipal Manager Keith McGill, who’s approaching three decades of service working for Mt. Lebanon, oversees all municipal operations. The Commission approved the 2025 budget of $69.7 million and 46 new and continuous projects under the 2025-29 Capital Improvement Program for $88.4 million.

Mt. Lebanon employs 157 full-time staff, 177 year-round part-timers, and about 150 part-time seasonal employees, such as lifeguards, pool supervisors, summer camp counselors and more. We’re often hiring for a variety of roles, so check online for up-to-date opportunities.
