IT’S YOUR LEBO The myLebo portal on the municipal website can put you in touch with some municipal services from your keyboard.  You can make service requests for trimming street trees, sidewalk repair, repairs to municipal property, and even rat baiting.

Other myLebo services include applying for building, occupancy and block party permits, downloading forms, and reporting problems such as malfunctioning traffic signals, potholes, damaged curbs and traffic signs, icy or snow-covered roads and storm sewer problems.

You can visit LeboSTORE to purchase tickets to municipal events, Mt. Lebanon wearing apparel and other merchandise, sign up for LeboALERT, a text and email notification system. You can even pay a parking ticket on myLebo.

lawn mowerLAWN ENFORCEMENT The good news is, no more snow shoveling for a while. So that frees up your time to cut the grass.

According to the health and safety provisions of Mt. Lebanon’s municipal code, it is the responsibility of the owner of any property, occupied or vacant, to maintain the lawn. The code enforcement officer is empowered to issue a citation if the grass reaches a height of six inches or more. The owner could receive a citation, and if that doesn’t stimulate action, the municipality can cut your grass for you, billing you for the cost plus a 10 percent penalty. Be a good neighbor. Cut the grass.
