Ruth Neely

Ruth Neely, Mt. Lebanon Class of 2007, has been named executive director of Sewickley Public Library. Before taking the position, Neely served as Sewickley Academy’s director of libraries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and political science with a focus on political philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh, and also a master’s in library and information science from Pitt.


Krisa Keller Franzetta, Bower Hill Road, is the new education and special education director of Steel City Academies in West Mifflin. Franzetta, a 2004 Mt. Lebanon High School graduate, holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh and a doctorate in education from Duquesne University.

Julie Aquino is Mt. Lebanon’s new human resources manager. Aquino, a Mt. Lebanon resident, is an alumna of Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Prior to becoming Mt. Lebanon’s human resources manager, Aquino spent nearly 15 years practicing employment and labor law, including with the Pittsburgh law firm Campbell Durrant, and Littler Mendelson. In 2007 through 2009, she worked as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. R. Stanton Wettick Jr. in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. In her spare time, Aquino enjoys playing tennis at the Mt. Lebanon Tennis Center. 


Diane Rattay

Diane Rattay is the new administrative assistant for the Mt. Lebanon Inspection Office. Before taking the administrative assistant position, Rattay worked for the majority of the last 25 years in several capacities for Baptist Senior Family. While taking time off to raise her family, she served for six years on the Mushroom Family Learning Center’s board of directors, including a one-year term as president. She has also served in multiple officer positions for the Foster Elementary School and Mellon Middle School PTAs. A lifelong resident of Mt. Lebanon, Rattay lives on Sunridge Drive with her husband and their two children. 


Beyond the Bubble Cpt. Christopher Westover, Mt. Lebanon Class of 2015, on a rotation to Europe. Westover is an infantry officer with the 1st Cavalry Division, based at Ft. Cavazos, Texas (formerly Ft. Hood).
