Above & Beyond – July/August 2025

Ella Magaw, Crystal Drive, is the summer intern for the public information office. Magaw graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 2023 and is now a junior at The Ohio State University majoring in public management, leadership and policy and double minoring in civic engagement and philosophy. A member of the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, she researches fair and affordable housing policy in Ohio. Passionate about public service and with experience in local, state and federal government, she hopes to pursue a career in legislative policy after graduation. Beyond the classroom and the office, Magaw can be found in the rock-climbing gym, in a coffee shop with her friends or in the neighborhood walking her dog, Juliet. Although she attends school out-of-state, Magaw still considers Mt. Lebanon her true home and community.
