We have received several phone calls from residents claiming our June 2012 description of the old Rollier’s on McFarland Road as being in “a former A&P grocery store” was wrong and that the A&P was located next door to Rollier’s. They are correct; but so are we. In the 1930s, the A&P was located in what is now the big red barn building (formerly Rollier’s); in the 1940s, as this picture shows,  it moved into a larger building next door.
