The third annual Brew Fest, presented by Mt. Lebanon Municipality and the Sunrise Rotary and sponsored by Howard Hanna Real Estate Mt. Lebanon, will take place Saturday, September 22, from 4 to 7 at Clearview Common. Planners say the event, which benefits the Mt. Lebanon Veterans Memorial, is expected to draw about 650 people and raise at least $20,000. Howard Hanna’s new headquarters at 701 Washington Road, adjacent to the common, should be open for business by then, says Manager Ruth Foltz, making their company a “good neighbor” for the event, which features a variety of craft beers, entertainment by Uptown Rhythm and Brass, a raffle and a 50/50 drawing.

Veterans Memorial Chair Rocky Bleier and Dan Gigler will greet guests.  Rotarians will help with everything from ticket sales to pouring the beer. A donation of $25 in advance or $30 at the gate is suggested. Beginning next month, people will be able to click on MyLebo at and purchase tickets. Tickets also will be available at the customer service center in the municipal building, the Rec Center, Howard Hanna and from Sunrise Rotary members.
