NEW Paying your property tax, annual stormwater and trash/recycling fees is easier. Visit the property tax portal and the Mt. Lebanon fee payment webpage.
NOTEWORTHY The finance department was honored by the commonwealth and the Government Finance Officers Association for its innovative finance cooperatives with Dormont, Etna and Churchill. Read more about it here.
NEED TO KNOW Stormwater and trash fees are billed annually on February 1. A 2 percent discount applies for fees paid prior to April 30. Fees are due by August 31, after which penalties and interest apply. These fees are separate from the monthly sewage usage bill that is due to Jordan Tax Service.
Property taxes are billed annually on June 1. A 2 percent discount applies to payments received by July 31, and taxes are due by September 30. Taxpayers can opt into the installment plan for school district taxes by paying half the annual amount due by September 30 and then paying the second half in two equal installments, due by December 31 and the final day of February of the following year. If paying online, eChecks are free. Fees apply for credit card payments.
