Mt. Lebanon’s Information Technology (IT) Office is responsible for maintaining the municipality’s computers and phone systems in all buildings and in the police and fire departments’ in-vehicle computers. The office also operates the electronic security system that controls access to buildings, and is responsible for cybersecurity.

The IT office manages Mt. Lebanon’s website, which is undergoing a redesign this year. The office also created and maintains the citizen access portal, myLebo, a virtual service platform where residents can make service requests, apply for permits, pay or appeal parking fines, make real estate tax payments and much more.

The LeboALERT notification service provides texts and email alerts on a variety of subjects, including community events, weather cancellations and safety updates. LeboEmergency, another alert system, only sends notifications of potentially life-threatening situations.
