Need Food Fast?

If you are sick of blah chicken, and short on time, try this one out. It’s versatile–you can serve on a tortilla, pita bread or even on salad. Pair it with refried beans and Mexican rice (try Mexican Rice II). It’s a crowd-pleaser, and makes plenty for a second meal!chili

1 jar salsa
1 packet taco seasoning
2lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 lime, juiced
1/2c chopped cilantro
Mix salsa and taco seasoning in crock pot, add chicken and stir to coat. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. Remove and shred chicken, then put back in sauce and stir. Add lime juice and cilantro. Serve as a taco, burrito, or on top of a salad.
