South Hills Model Railroad Club track display

Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11

A room-sized model railroad display featuring homes, businesses, landscape features and a carnival. This fully operational track creates its own tiny world to explore. Club members will be available to answer questions. Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall.

Orchids Are for Everyone

The Orchid Society of Western Pennsylvania’s annual Spring Orchid Show returns to the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Fort Couch Road. The event features orchid exhibits, educational sessions, a repotting table, craft sales and orchid vendors. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults; children younger than 18 are free. Free parking.

Pittsburgh Tartan Day

Celebrate National Tartan Day with bagpipers, fiddlers, dancers, workshops and vendors. Hosted by the St. Andrew’s Society of Pittsburgh. Bethel Presbyterian Church, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Free and open to the public.

Pittsburgh Photography Club Annual Salon
