Independence Day

You can’t be sure who you’ll see, what you’ll do or whether the sun will shine on the Fourth of July, but you can count on two things—families and fun celebrating America’s independence at Mt. Lebanon Park.
From noon to 5, kids will enjoy all or some of this plus more … pony rides, train rides and games, a petting zoo, Eurobungy, giant inflatables, the always “scary” dunk tank,
and the even more intimidating Uncle Sam
on stilts.

Other folks can chill and watch all-star sporting events from 9 to 5, take a dip in the pool or catch international dance and music on the basketball courts from 2 to 3. And there’s food, plenty of food vendors. Have a family picnic; then head for the free concert by Jim Donovan and the Sun King Warriors at 7:30. Fireworks spectacular. Wonder how long this year’s finale will be? Pop, whish, crackle, crackle, whoosh, pause, boom Boom BOOM, BOOM. Ooooh, oooh, aaah, wow! Crackle, Silence. Wait, one
more BOOM.
You know what we always say: “Best fireworks ever!”
